Mele Kalikimaka -- Aloha mai e all my beloved family and dearest friends,

I wish all of you a beautiful holiday season with much love and Aloha.

It is almost Christmas and I am missing my children so much. I love you so much, you are my legacy and my most treasured gifts in life :))

Between us, together Jacob and I have 10 children and we have 14 mo'opuna (grandchildren).

Here is my message for all our children who we love so much ...

We were all young once. We carry the memories in our hearts of our beauty in our youth and the sweet innocence of our childhood. Many of us long for those carefree days. We remember the sweet puppy breath of our first baby dog. We remember all the days we played outside digging holes in the ground and building forts, making mud pies and climbing trees, riding horseback and singing silly songs, splashing in the rain puddles along the streets, our first bicycle, playing tag, the magic of the colourful lights on a Christmas tree, the sweet aroma filling the house with fresh baked cookies, exploring our world and tasting the earth.... We remember marveling at the beauty of a Butterfly taking flight and landing in our hair. We all remember the first time we sat out on the cool grass in the darkness gazing up at the moon and realised for the first time that it was round, the magic of that moment that we understood the wonder of a planet suspended in the sky. We all remember our fear and sense of wonder the first time we saw the ocean .. the "big water"... we cherish all those precious things and the people we have loved all our lives. This is what we see when we gaze into the mirror. No one can ever really know what is in the heart of another person. While it is true the Universe is always listening, we are the only ones on this earth who really know ourselves. We are known to others by the power of our intentions. We are known and remembered forever by our words and our actions. Words are powerful. Be careful what you say. It is not as important how we look as what is in our hearts, and the words we project, for thought becomes form and that which we focus on we give power to. Always remember the Power of Now. Be here in the moment. Focus on this very moment on this very day, every day, for it is really all you have. We are all human and none of us are perfect. It is important to always try and do our best. We all make mistakes, and when we make them, we must accept our responsibility for our actions and move forward. There are no promises and no guarantees for how much time we have in this life to make a positive difference in the lives of others during our time here on this Earth. Love is the only really important thing in life. So when you look at your parents, when you gaze into your Mother or your Father's eyes, try and see the sweet innocent child in them. It will open your eyes to your past and to your future. No matter how old we are, we are all children.

As the Observer, we all see the child in us. The innocence, the purity and the very essence of our soul is what we see when we look into our own eyes. Just as when I look at my husband, I see and love the boy within the man. Just as when I gaze into the eyes of my own dear children and see my own immortality. In my heart I am still an innocent little girl.

There are many people on this beautiful earth who are so kind and gracious to me. For all my family and friends, I love you so much. And for those who truly love me, for those who really care to know me, for all those who see and recognise my kind and altruistic nature, and for those who have extended their gracious kindness in return, you are the ones I focus on this holiday season. I love my family and friends. I miss my family. I am so grateful for everything, for all the people in this world I love, for my children and my children's children, for all that is good and wonderful and for all the many blessings in my life.... I am thankful.

Aloha mai no, aloha aku

When love is given, love is returned

I wish you L O V E

"We must learn to reawaken and keep ourselves awake, not by mechanical aids, but by an infinite expectation of the dawn, which does not forsake us even in our soundest sleep. I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of man to elevate his life by a conscious endeavour. It is something to be able to paint a particular picture, or to carve a statue, and so to make a few objects beautiful; but it is far more glorious to carve

and paint the very atmosphere and medium through which we look, which morally we can do. To affect the quality of the day, that is the highest of arts.
" inspirational quotes by Henry David Thoreau

"Christmas is forever, not for just one day,
for loving, sharing, giving, are not to put away
like bells and lights and tinsel, in some box upon a shelf.
The good you do for others is good you do yourself."
