Paako is a beautiful beach to enjoy the day watch the sunset and the sweet Honu feeding on limu on the rocks. There are many creatures living in the tide pools. When the Humpback Whales are here often we can see them in the Alalakeiki channel between Maui and Kanaloa (Kaho'olawe island).

Many people enjoy fishing and snorkeling here and often you will see many weddings occurring at the same time with local families playing in the ocean as we enjoy this beach so much. It is lovely. It is rare when no one is around and always a treat when I walk on to the beach and I am alone. It is a popular secret cove and so picturesque plus the beautiful golden sand is deep and luxurious.

It was a sensational evening and the sunset was so beautiful I wanted to stay forever. I remained on the beach long after sunset when the stars appeared with a crescent moon.
