Description
Dead Horse Point State Park is a spectacular state park near Moab Utah. The view from Dead Horse Point is a dramatic vista of a gooseneck in the Colorado River 2000’ below and a panorama of the pinnacles and buttes of the Canyonlands area. The park is a high desert area at an altitude of 5900’. Fun fact: it was used in the final scene in the film Thelma and Louise.
